These are list-price changes. Your actual price may vary based on your user tier, currency, discounts, contract terms, and the products in your environment. Marketplace apps are priced separately by their developers.
If you are planning a renewal, upgrade, expansion, or new purchase, start the conversation early. Requests made close to the deadline may take longer to review and process.
From December 3, 2026, extra-usage billing begins for selected Atlassian capabilities. Eligible paid plans include monthly allowances based on plan and seat count, with tools in Atlassian Administration to monitor usage and manage costs.
Before December 3, review your usage, included allowances, and cost controls to understand the potential impact. Contact Valiantys for help assessing what the changes mean for your organization.
Atlassian positions these changes as part of its continued investment in AI, security, reliability, compliance, and cross-product productivity. The important question is how those investments translate into value in your environment, and whether your current plan still supports the way your teams work.
Our recommendation is to use this pricing update as a review point, not a reason to make a rushed purchase.
Annual tier increases completed before October 13 retain current pricing; those completed on or after that date use the new pricing. Monthly subscriptions move to the new pricing on their next billing date on or after October 13. If you have a custom commercial agreement, confirm the impact with your account team.
The right approach depends on your needs, but this is a timely opportunity to optimize your Atlassian environment and reduce future Cloud subscription costs.
